In our small university engineering study group, we’ve remained tightly knit despite finishing our last classes together over 10 years ago and now spanning a 16 hours timezone differences between all of us.

With all of us having ‘professional grade hobbies’, we take turns creating real fun pieces to celebrate each others’ big events – such as weddings.

For Phil and Maddy’s wedding card, we decided to make a parody of the trusty ‘Kraft Mac n’ Cheese’ into something uniquely them.

COVID-19 had made New Years Eve 2021 in Australia a bit of a strange event, so we decided to have a ‘focused night in’ to work on the card.

We had a lot of fun celebrating what made Phil and Maddy them –

• Their cat grey Lucy that Phil loved showing in zoom calls during COVID lockdowns
• They are both incredibly talented musicians
• Their Jewish faith
• The story of their proposal

There are no less than 30 specific design details integrated into the design.
